Today was our first real day in London. Already it’s been such a joy being in a country where everything’s in English and it’s at least 10 degrees cooler! It just makes it all so much easier. To boot, breakfast is included at our hotel so there goes the nightly worry of procuring food for the next morning. It’s the small things really!
So…speaking of the room…it’s a hotel room with two beds. No dressers, not a real closet, so NO privacy. I mean none! So we’re living out of our packs and Charlotte has already instructed us there is to be no making out. Hahahaha
We headed downtown for a busking festival, which is a festival celebrating street performers. Cool! We saw artists, illusionists, musicians, performers and char even got to assist at a juggling show. Fun! But you better have a pocket full of change and small bills cause if you stop to watch you feel obligated to donate.
After the festival we explored the downtown (as much as Mikey’s foot could handle anyway). We saw the London eye, Big Ben, parliament and found an arcade to hang out for a while. We topped the night off with the new ghost busters movie and skyping with friends. All and all a success so far.
